The Beauty & The Beast Triathlon on St. Croix is set for November 28, 2021.

Situated in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the destination offers U.S. citizens the ease of traveling to the picturesque Caribbean without a passport. But visiting for the race this winter just got even better as American Airlines recently announced they have eliminated oversize luggage fees for bicycles in a “hard-sided case, bicycle bag or box built for bicycle transport”. Since St. Croix is considered a domestic destination, this recent news allows athletes to take advantage of extra cost savings, paying just standard checked bag fees for their bicycles.

Travel from the U.S. mainland varies daily but is most frequently operated by American Airlines, offering twice daily service from Miami, FL and an additional service from Charlotte, NC.

This year’s race will offer athletes their choice of participating in an Olympic triathlon, sprint triathlon or a sprint aquathlon. Relays are offered in the Olympic and sprint triathlon events.
